Our film is finished now and to be honest, it is different from my storyboard and the original idea. It's changed a lot. We were going to have the granny set up cameras, but when we finished filming the chase scene we decided it would just be okay how it is. My favourite part was when I was pretending to be a granny. I liked how I was two different characters, it made the movie very interesting.

Alec- Storyboard
I found the story board a little hard. I had trouble drawing good drawings. I learnt how to draw better and I learnt the basic layout and idea of storyboards. It was fun and challenging 👍🏻

Alec-Filming
Our movie was really fun to film and it was funny doing the bloopers. We finished fairly early and our movie looked really good all together. My favourite part was pretending to be a grandma.
editing
Editing is the final stage of making a film. The film reached my exportation by having exactly what I wanted. Editing is annoying because bull frog stuffed up the timing of the music and I deleted a scene accidently a few times.

filming
Filming is the 2nd stage of making a film. Jeremiah and I have finished making the film. The hard thing about making the film is thinking of a location to film not making too many mistakes. Other than that it is fun to make a movie and 95% of it is pretty easy. Things changed from the storyboards to the filming because some things were easier not to put in the film.

Publishing Phase Post
Did the finished film reach or exceed your expectations? why?
I think our film reach or exceed exceptions because it showed the really aspects of doing drugs and what it can do to you.
What aspect of the process did you personally enjoyed the most or do the most of?
I personally enjoyed filming and acting all of the movie, i didn't have a favourite of making the film.

Filming Phase Post
What aspects of the filming is working- what is not?
In our film we all had a go at filming and were all in the film at least twice or more. We all contributed to the film making and there were no real problems in the making of our movie.
What might you need to modify to improve the filming process?
To improve our film we could modify how we filmed the scenes by shooting from different angles and from distances. Another improvement we could of done was wearing our costumes in all of our scenes.
Are your plans from the storyboard changing as you film? why?
Some of the plans in the storyboard have changed because they didn't quiet work in the film or they couldn't be done.

The finished film did not only reach my expectations but it exceeded. This is because I didn't know that our group could work so well together. It is also because we put so much time and effort into making the movie and not fooling around, which meant that we could get our film done soon. Aspects of the movie that I enjoyed the most was the filming part. I enjoyed taking and re-taking shots until we got it just right. In the film, we had to do a lot of editing as there were parts that we had to speed up, slow down or give an effect to.

Storyboarding - Jemma
Storyboarding
The first task that had to be completed in order to form our movie was to create a story board, and this task had taken a lot of time and I had a few difficulties that i had to overcome. The most challenging part of storyboarding was to draw the characters and their positioning, such as what direction the characters were facing and the different type of camera angles. I developed many skills when I created the story board such as learning how to communicate the story to people through drawings and I learnt how to draw many different things. I did not take many risks when drawing the storyboard because I wanted it to be basic so that it was easier for people to understand.
Finished film - Jemma
Finished film
When we finished the film we were all very happy with the final product. The finished film is really good and is better then what I thought it was going to be because the whole group worked together really well. I really enjoyed filming because it was fun to use IMovie and add music and different edits to enhance our film.

Filming - Jemma
Filming
The second task was to start filming our movie. The filming of our movie is working really well because we are all suggesting ideas on how we can improve it. However, we will need to modify the scenes to make sure that they all change at the right time and that the music starts at the right time. We did change the film from the storyboard because we didn't want it to be to repetitive.

Storyboard
Q2 drawing storyboards definitely improved my drawing skills and it taught me the different skills in making a storyboard it helped with creativity and helped me to see things from a different angle... literally. at first it took some time getting use to all the different ways to display angles, movement and lighting but it made filming a whole lot easier

Q1- What aspects of the filming is working- what is not
A1- the actual story is working, though I'm not sure people are going to understand what we are tying to expclain about Alcohol.
Q2- What might you need to modify to improve the filming process?
A2- Making sure we bring costumes and to change the scence shot every few seconds.
Q3- Are your plans from the storyboards changing as you film?
A3- No not really occasionally we are adding in little scenes to make in more interesting.

Filming
All the shots that have been filmed so far are working well. We have not experienced any troubles with it so far. I don't think we need to modify anything to improve the filming process. The plans from our storyboard are not changing that much as we film. This is because we worked out the whole movie before we started filming. But we have changed a few shots. They are of the same thing but on a different angle.

Story Boarding
what did you find challenging about story boarding?
Drawing was a bit difficult but i finally got there in the end, it was a bit confusing when it came to sound, angles and lighting. Doing storyboarding is an important part of the task and there is no way around it.
What did you develop as a skill in making the storyboards?
some skills i developed during the storyboarding stage is how to figure out when you need better lighting, speak louder or camera angles.
did you take any risk in developing your story boarding?
no not really

Storyboarding
This term, we were taught how to story board. I found this a bit hard when it came to writing about the lighting, sound and other technical things that I didn't really understand. This was challenging because it was an important part of the task and I didn't know how to do it. As a skill, I developed through my drawings, as I learned how to draw proper storyboarding characters. I also learned to write about the lighting and sound, as this was an area in which I struggled in. While storyboarding, I did not take any risks because otherwise I would have gotten confused and my storyboard would probably confuse people.

Storyboarding is the 1st stage of making a film.
The thing I found difficult in making the storyboards is thinking of idea to put in to the story and choosing an order to put them in. Another hard thing is making the character look as if they were doing something. In my storyboarding I didn't show any faces which is a risk because you don't know which way the characters are facing.

The storyboard is a cool way to see the a general idea of the product before the finished product. The most challenging thing for me is trying to draw the movement of the camera and character's. I always got the wrong terminology or I drew a box with lines going from the corners instead of an arrow. the first time I did a story board I didn't do any arrows or boxes but my drawings were pretty good, I am not going to lie. As you can see I'm an amazing artist (that last part totally not sarcasm)
My first amazing drawing of a guy

What did you find challenging about storyboarding?
I found the storyboard challenging because it was hard to come up with the story idea and it was also difficult to put it onto the storyboard. I also found the drawing a bit hard.

challenges in storyboarding
The story boarding was challenging in the way of actually drawing the figures. But the hardest thing was to figure out what was actually going to happen in the movie. You had to also do the different types of angle shots for example a low shot and stuff like that. The skills I have developed during the storyboards process is that there are so many different types of angle shots that you can do. And it can just make the movie perfect. It can also show the way you want the person to feel whilst they are watching the movie.
Storyboarding is an important part of the movie because it is the first part of making a movie you have to choose a topic and then think about how you want to show the topic in a movie way. With movement and actions, words and editing. The amount of things that you can do on iMovie and during the making of a movie is endless.
Using music in a movie is a good idea but you have to choose the right type of music. It has to suit the theme and the shot of what you are doing. For example if it is a concert tour of shot you could have the sound of a crowd in the background and you will automatically get that music effect on the iMovie app.
Editing the shots are very important you can put a filter on it. In our movie so far we have used the filter western and it just makes it look really nice and suits the theme of our movie. We have cut half of our shots to make them shorter and more effective but we have also made some of them longer.
